Trading Rules

EOD Trailing Drawdown

Most plans use End-of-Day trailing drawdown4. The drawdown locks (stops trailing) once your end-of-day balance reaches starting balance plus the drawdown amount4. The Rapid add-on uses intraday trailing drawdown instead14.

Position Closure

All positions are auto-liquidated at 4:10 PM EST on regular trading days15. Trading resumes at 6:00 PM EST15. No overnight positions are permitted.

No Daily Loss Limit

MFFU does not enforce daily loss limits on any current plan16.

Consistency Rule

During evaluation, no single day can exceed 50% of total profits on Core, Scale, and Pro plans8.

News Trading

Core and Scale sim-funded accounts must close positions 2 minutes before and wait 2 minutes after Tier 1 economic events (FOMC, NFP, CPI)17. Pro and Rapid funded accounts allow news trading17.

Prohibited Practices

High-frequency trading (200+ trades/day), hedging across accounts, arbitrage, and exploitation of simulation-specific fills are prohibited5.

Supported Platforms

MFFU supports multiple platforms18:

  • Tradovate: Primary platform with TradersPost compatibility
  • NinjaTrader: Via Rithmic or Tradovate connection
  • TradingView: Web-based charting and alerts
  • Quantower: Multi-asset trading platform
  • R Trader Pro: Rithmic-based execution

Automation Policy

As of July 2025, MFFU permits semi-automated trading on all accounts, including evaluation and funded stages5. Third-party automation tools like TradersPost are allowed as long as the trader actively monitors and manages trades5. Fully autonomous bots that trade without human oversight are prohibited5.
