When comparing Tradeify Growth vs Select, the surface-level numbers look nearly identical: same profit targets, same drawdown mechanic, same one-time purchase model. The real separation lives in two places that most comparison articles gloss over: what happens to consistency rules once you are funded, and whether you can access daily payouts at all.

This article works through every meaningful difference between the two plans, in the order that actually matters for your decision. The profit target is not the deciding factor. The funded-stage rules and payout structure are.

The Profit Target Is Identical

Same target at every account size

Both Growth and Select share the same profit targets: $1,500 on a 25K account, $3,000 on 50K, $6,000 on 100K, and $9,000 on 150K.1 That is 6% of account size in both plans. Neither plan has a time limit to complete the evaluation, so there is no deadline pressure regardless of which you choose.2

The profit target is a non-issue when choosing between these two plans. Everything that follows in this article is the actual decision.

Evaluation Speed and Daily Loss Limits

Growth passes in one day

Growth has no consistency requirement, so a trader who hits the profit target in a single session can pass immediately.2 That is the fastest evaluation path Tradeify offers.

Growth does carry a daily loss limit during evaluation, enforced as a soft breach: $600 on a 25K account, $1,250 on 50K, $2,500 on 100K, $3,750 on 150K. Hitting this limit stops trading for the rest of that session but does not fail the account.2 For traders with controlled intraday risk, the soft breach functions more as a discipline mechanism than a threat.

Select requires three days minimum

Select enforces a 40% consistency rule during evaluation: no single trading day can represent more than 40% of total profit. Mathematically, that requires at least three profitable days to pass.3 Select has no daily loss limit during evaluation, so a large losing session does not pause trading, though the end-of-day trailing drawdown floor continues to apply in real time throughout.1

A 50% consistency add-on is available for Select, which allows passing in as few as two days instead of three.3 This is worth noting if the three-day minimum feels like the primary friction point.

Drawdown: Where Select Has an Edge

Both plans use end-of-day trailing drawdown

Both Growth and Select use end-of-day trailing max drawdown. Intraday fluctuations do not move the drawdown floor; it only updates at the close of each trading session.2 The floor is still enforced in real time on both plans: if net liquidation value touches it at any moment during the day, the account fails immediately even if it recovers before close.

At the two smaller account sizes, drawdown is identical across both plans: $1,000 on a 25K account and $2,000 on a 50K account.1

Select is more generous at larger sizes

At 100K, Select's evaluation drawdown is $3,000 versus Growth's $3,500. At 150K, Select's is $4,500 versus Growth's $5,000.1 Select traders at larger account sizes get a tighter but more protective floor during evaluation, and since there is no daily loss limit providing intraday structure on Select, the trailing drawdown is the primary real-time risk control.

The Funded Stage Flips the Advantage

Growth carries a 35% consistency rule once funded

After passing Growth and activating a funded account, a 35% consistency rule applies: no single trading day can represent more than 35% of total profit.4 This is the single most important structural difference between the two plans. Growth's evaluation has no consistency requirement at all, but the funded side does.

Growth funded accounts also carry a daily loss limit and offer only a fixed payout structure with no ability to choose a payout schedule.1 Traders who build their funded account around a concentrated strategy will feel this constraint immediately.

Select drops the consistency rule once funded

Once a Select evaluation is passed and a funded account is activated, the 40% consistency rule disappears completely, regardless of which payout policy is chosen.3 A single large winning day does not create a compliance problem. There is no cap on how much of your profit can come from one session.

Tradeify's own documentation describes this funded-stage freedom as the core reason experienced traders prefer Select over Growth.4 The evaluation is harder to pass, but the funded rules are materially more flexible.

Payout Paths: Daily or Flex

Select is the only plan with a daily payout option

After passing a Select evaluation, traders choose between two permanent payout policies: Select Daily (daily eligibility) or Select Flex (every 5 winning days). Growth has a fixed payout structure with no equivalent choice.1 The decision is made after passing and activating the funded account, not at purchase, and it is permanent for that account.3

Select Daily: buffer, caps, and continuity

Select Daily provides daily payout eligibility, but the mechanics require attention. A buffer must be maintained before payouts are accessible: $1,100 on a 25K account, $2,100 on 50K, $2,600 on 100K, $3,600 on 150K. Profits above the buffer are eligible for withdrawal.5

For accounts purchased after September 1, 2026, payout caps on Select Daily are: $600 (25K), $1,250 (50K), $1,750 (100K), $2,500 (150K). Payouts are sized at up to 2x the profit earned since the last payout, capped at those figures.5 The Daily Continuity Rule requires positive net profit since the last payout; a trader cannot request a payout while the current cycle is negative.

Select Daily also carries a daily loss limit in the funded stage: $500 (25K), $1,000 (50K), $1,250 (100K), $1,750 (150K), and uses a tighter drawdown at the 100K and 150K sizes compared to Select Flex.5

Select Flex: winning days and larger caps

Select Flex pays out every 5 winning days. A winning day meets a minimum profit threshold: $100 (25K), $150 (50K), $200 (100K), $250 (150K).5

For accounts purchased after September 1, 2026, Flex payout caps are up to 50% of total profits, capped at: $1,250 (25K), $2,500 (50K), $3,500 (100K), $4,500 (150K) per payout.5 Select Flex has no daily loss limit in the funded stage and uses a wider drawdown than Select Daily at the 100K and 150K sizes, which suits traders who want intraday flexibility after passing.

Price and What the Firm Publishes

Evaluation cost and purchase model

Tradeify publishes evaluation prices on its pricing page and runs periodic promotional codes that change the effective cost. Quoting a specific dollar figure here risks being outdated within days of publication. Both Growth and Select are one-time purchases with no recurring subscription and no activation fee for the funded account.2 Select is not available at the 25K size; Growth covers all four standard sizes: 25K, 50K, 100K, and 150K.3

Tradeify's published pass and payout rates

Tradeify discloses the following statistics covering August 2025 to July 2026 across its Growth, Advanced, and Select evaluation products: 17.2% of evaluation accounts initiated were successfully completed and advanced to the funded level. 40.3% of individual participants who started one or more evaluations advanced to the funded level in at least one evaluation; participants initiated a median of 3 evaluations each. 28.5% of funded-level participants received a payout, and 3.0% of funded account traders were called up to a live funded account.4 These figures cover all plan types combined, not Growth or Select in isolation.

Which Account to Take

Case for Growth

Growth suits traders who want the fastest possible path to a funded account and can reliably respect a daily loss limit during evaluation. If your strategy produces concentrated single-day profits, the absence of a consistency rule during evaluation means nothing blocks a one-day pass.2 The trade-off is accepting a 35% consistency rule and a fixed payout structure on the funded side, which reduces flexibility once capital is allocated.

Case for Select

Select fits traders who run intraday strategies with wider drawdown swings during evaluation, since there is no daily loss limit that can pause trading mid-session.1 The absence of any consistency rule once funded is the defining advantage: a strong single session does not create a rule-compliance problem. Select is also the only path to daily payouts. Traders who want same-week access to profits have no equivalent option in Growth.4

If you plan to run multiple funded accounts, Tradeify allows up to 5 funded accounts active simultaneously across any combination of account types, so it is possible to hold both Growth and Select funded accounts at the same time.3

Automating Either Plan

Running automated strategies on prop firm accounts

Both Growth and Select funded accounts operate through platforms including Tradovate, WealthCharts, and Tradesea, which support API-based order routing.4 Traders using automated strategies must verify that their approach complies with Tradeify's rules before connecting any automation tool, since rule responsibility stays with the trader regardless of how orders are submitted.

The 35% consistency rule on Growth funded accounts and the 40% consistency rule during Select evaluation are enforced at the account level. Any automated system must be configured to avoid concentrating profit in a single session when those rules apply. TradersPost connects TradingView or TrendSpider alerts to Tradovate and ProjectX prop firm accounts, routing orders to one or multiple evaluation or funded accounts simultaneously. Before linking, confirm that your automation approach complies with Tradeify's terms, as rule adherence remains the trader's responsibility.

Bottom Line

  • Profit targets are identical across both plans at every account size: 6% with no time limit.
  • Growth passes in one day with no consistency rule but adds a 35% consistency rule once funded; Select requires three days minimum but removes all consistency rules once funded.
  • Select offers two payout paths (Daily or Flex) chosen after passing; Growth has a fixed payout structure with no daily option.
  • At the 100K and 150K sizes, Select's evaluation drawdown is lower than Growth's, providing a tighter but more protective floor.
  • Select is not available at the 25K size. If you need a 25K account, Growth is the only standard option.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the 40% consistency rule apply after I pass Select?

No. The 40% consistency rule applies only during the Select evaluation phase. Once you pass and activate a funded account, the rule is removed entirely regardless of whether you choose Daily or Flex payouts.3 Growth funded accounts are different: they carry a 35% consistency rule on the funded side even though Growth evaluation has no consistency requirement at all.4

Can I fail my Growth evaluation by hitting the daily loss limit?

No. The Growth daily loss limit is a soft breach. Hitting it stops trading for the rest of that session but does not fail the account.2 The account only fails if the end-of-day trailing drawdown floor is touched at any point during the trading day. That rule applies to both Growth and Select.

When do I choose Daily or Flex payouts on Select?

You choose after passing the evaluation and activating the funded account, not at the time of purchase. The decision is permanent for that account. If you want to try the other payout policy, you need to pass a separate Select evaluation and choose differently on that account.3

Can I hold both Growth and Select funded accounts at the same time?

Yes. Tradeify allows up to 5 funded accounts active simultaneously across any combination of account types.3 You can also purchase multiple evaluations of different types concurrently, up to a maximum of 15 evaluation purchases within any 30-day period.

Is Select available at the 25K account size?

No. Select is available at 50K, 100K, and 150K (and a limited-release 300K). The 25K size is only available under Growth.3 Growth covers all four standard sizes: 25K, 50K, 100K, and 150K.
