Bottom Line

  • The Elite and Premiere plans allow traders to pass the evaluation with as few as 1 trading day, while the Classic plan requires a minimum of 2 trading days.
  • The S2F plan allows traders to skip the evaluation process entirely for a one-time fee ranging from $399 to $699, with a 25% consistency rule and 7 minimum trading days before the first payout.
  • The Classic plan features an EOD trailing drawdown with a 50% consistency rule, starting at $79/month for a $50K account, while the Elite plan offers an intraday trailing drawdown with no consistency rule, starting at $64/month.
  • Payouts are structured with the first $10,000 going 100% to the trader, and subsequent profits split 90/10, with requests made by Monday or Thursday for disbursement on Tuesday or Friday.
  • After passing the evaluation, traders enter a sim-funded stage, and after 3 successful payouts or $10,000 in total sim payouts, they may transition to a live account with an 80/20 profit split.

Getting funded with Funded Futures Family means choosing from six plan types and passing by reaching a profit target without breaching the drawdown1. The Elite and Premiere plans require as few as 1 trading day to pass1. The S2F plan skips evaluation entirely2.

This guide covers each plan type, the requirements for passing, and the path from evaluation to funded trading.

Choosing Your Plan

Evaluation Parameters

Classic and Elite (all sizes)14:

  • $50K: $3,000 target, $2,000 drawdown
  • $100K: $6,000 target, $3,000 drawdown
  • $150K: $9,000 target, $4,500 drawdown

  • $100K: $6,000 target, $2,500 drawdown
  • $150K: $9,000 target, $4,000 drawdown

Drawdown Rules

  • EOD trailing (Classic, Premiere, E2L): Based on realized gains at end of day only4
  • Intraday trailing (Elite, Velocity): Moves in real time with unrealized profits4
  • Buffer zone: Once realized profit equals the drawdown amount, the floor locks at starting balance and never trails again4

Trading Rules

  • All positions auto-closed at 4:15 PM EST5
  • No trading 4:15-6:00 PM EST5
  • Overnight holding permitted on sim-funded accounts5
  • News trading fully allowed6
  • No daily loss limit on evaluation or sim-funded7

After You Pass

Sim-Funded Stage

After passing, pay the activation fee (if applicable) and enter the sim-funded stage on Tradovate8. Monthly subscription billing stops automatically1. The scaling plan governs contract limits based on profit milestones9.

Live Funded Account

After 3 successful payouts or $10,000 in total sim payouts, FFF may transition the trader to a live account8. Live accounts use 80/20 profit split with daily loss limits and the consistency rule permanently removed10.

Payout Structure

  • First $10,000: 100% to trader (sim-funded)8
  • After $10,000: 90/10 split (sim-funded)8
  • Schedule: Request Mon/Thu by 5 PM ET, disbursed Tue/Fri8
  • Minimum: $2508
  • Maximum per request: $10,0008
  • First 4 cycles: 60% withdrawal cap8
  • Qualifying days: 7 winning days ($200+ each)8

Tips for Passing

Choose the Right Plan

If speed matters, Elite or Premiere with 1-day minimum. If cost matters, Elite at $64/month. If you want EOD drawdown with no activation, Premiere. If you want to skip evaluation, S2F starting at $399.

EOD vs Intraday Drawdown

EOD drawdown (Classic, Premiere) is more forgiving for intraday fluctuations4. Intraday trailing (Elite) costs less but requires tighter risk management throughout the session.

Watch the Premiere Drawdown

Premiere has tighter drawdown ($1,500 on $50K vs $2,000 for Classic/Elite)1. The trade-off for $0 activation and 1-day minimum is a smaller margin for error.

Conclusion

Funded Futures Family offers six paths to funding with minimum trading requirements as low as 1 day1. The S2F option skips evaluation entirely2. News trading is unrestricted6 and overnight holds are allowed on sim-funded accounts5.

The main considerations are the 60% early payout cap8 and expensive funded resets ($649-$1,499)11. Verify current plans and pricing on the Funded Futures Family website before purchasing.
